Beth L. Pineles, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Epidemiology

Beth L. Pineles, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Epidemiology in the Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Pineles' research in focuses on ​deimplementation of low-value and harmful practices in obstetrics. She received her BS in Chemistry and Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and her dual MD/PhD degree in Epidemiology from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland Medical Center and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
