Kevin Rix

Education: 

PhD in Behavioral Science, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (2021)
MPH in Social and Behavioral Science, Boston University (2014)
BS in Public Health, Syracuse University (2012)

Research Focus: 

Dr. Rix's research focuses on prevention of traumatic injuries across injury mechanisms. After spending seven years managing an injury prevention program at a level one trauma center, he has an interest in researching how to better apply injury science research into the practice setting for improved injury prevention work. His work with the Penn Injury Science Center focuses on epidemiology, and outcomes of traumatic brain injury in sports and those related to motor vehicle crashes.
