Associate Professor of Family Medicine, Community Health and Epidemiology

Dr. Bogner has a R01 award that builds on a randomized clinical trial carried out in primary care to study trajectories of depressive symptoms and medical comorbidity in relation to the outcomes of major depression and suicidal ideation at two years. In addition, with grant funding from the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association, her research focuses on depression in older adults with diabetes and cardiovascular disease; its goal is to develop treatment for depression that is integrated with the treatment of chronic conditions such as diabetes.

That is why this department has put forward a bold vision in population-health science: a single academic home for biostatistics, epidemiology and informatics. MORE
