Education: 

MSc in Bioinformatics, Novosibirsk State University, Akademgorodok, Russia

PhD in Molecular Biology, University of Wyoming

 

Research Focus: 

Dr. Orlenko's research is focused on the development and application of bioinformatics approaches for epidemiological data analysis, with the aim to detect biomarkers, and infer and explain mechanisms of complex diseases. In her ongoing work, she integrates data science and statistical methods for the estimation of biomedical signals from metabolomics, lipidomics and proteomics data.
